Accommodation Terms and Conditions / Hotel Rules
Article 1 – Scope of Application
- Accommodation contracts and related agreements entered into between the Hotel and guests shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Matters not provided for herein shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations or generally established customs.
- If the Hotel agrees to a special arrangement within the scope permitted by laws, regulations, and customs, such special arrangement shall prevail notwithstanding the preceding paragraph.
Article 2 – Application for Accommodation Contract
- A person who wishes to apply for an accommodation contract with the Hotel shall provide the Hotel with the following information:
- Name of the guest
- Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
- Accommodation charge, in principle based on the basic accommodation charge listed in Attached Table 1
- Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel
2. If a guest requests to extend the stay beyond the originally scheduled date during the stay, the Hotel shall treat such request as a new application for an accommodation contract at the time the request is made.
Article 3 – Formation of Accommodation Contract
- An accommodation contract shall be deemed to have been formed when the Hotel accepts the application set forth in the preceding Article. However, this shall not apply if the Hotel proves that it did not accept the application.
- When an accommodation contract has been formed pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay an application deposit designated by the Hotel by the date specified by the Hotel, up to the amount of the basic accommodation charge for the period of stay, or for three days if the stay exceeds three days.
- The application deposit shall first be applied to the accommodation charges ultimately payable by the guest. If circumstances arise where Article 6 or Article 18 applies, the deposit shall then be applied in the order of cancellation charges and compensation for damages. Any remaining balance shall be refunded at the time of payment under Article 12.
- If the application deposit under Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel, the accommodation contract shall cease to be effective. However, this shall apply only when the Hotel has notified the guest of such condition when specifying the payment due date.
Article 4 – Special Arrangement Requiring No Application Deposit
- Notwithstanding Article 3, Paragraph 2, the Hotel may agree to a special arrangement under which payment of the application deposit is not required after the contract has been formed.
- If the Hotel does not request payment of the application deposit or does not specify a payment due date when accepting the application for accommodation, the Hotel shall be deemed to have agreed to the special arrangement set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 – Refusal to Conclude Accommodation Contract
The Hotel may refuse to conclude an accommodation contract in any of the following cases:
- When the application for accommodation does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- When there are no rooms available due to full occupancy.
- When the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to conduct themselves in a manner contrary to laws, public order, or good morals.
- When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
- When the person makes violent demands against the Hotel or Hotel staff, requests an unreasonable burden beyond socially acceptable limits, or is deemed to have previously engaged in similar conduct.
- When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility failure, or other unavoidable reasons.
- When the person seeking accommodation is deemed likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests due to intoxication or similar reasons, or when the guest has behaved in a manner that significantly inconveniences other guests.
When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to be a member of an organized crime group, a company or organization related to such group, or any other anti-social force.
Article 6 – Guest’s Right to Cancel the Contract
- The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Hotel.
- If the guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to the guest, the Hotel shall charge cancellation fees in accordance with Attached Table 2. However, this shall not apply if the guest cancels the accommodation contract before payment of the application deposit where the Hotel has specified a payment due date and requested payment under Article 3, Paragraph 2.
- If the guest does not arrive by 10:00 PM on the scheduled date of arrival without contacting the Hotel, or one hour after the scheduled arrival time if such time has been specified in advance, the Hotel may deem the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest.
Article 7 – Hotel’s Right to Cancel the Contract
1. The Hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in any of the following cases:
- When the guest is deemed likely to conduct themselves in a manner contrary to laws, public order, or good morals, or has engaged in such conduct.
- When the guest is clearly recognized as having an infectious disease.
- When the guest makes violent demands against the Hotel or Hotel staff, requests an unreasonable burden beyond socially acceptable limits, or is deemed to have previously engaged in similar conduct.
- When accommodation cannot be provided due to force majeure such as natural disasters.
- When the guest is deemed likely to cause inconvenience to other guests due to intoxication or similar reasons, or has behaved in a manner that significantly inconveniences other guests.
- When the guest is deemed to be a member of an organized crime group, a company or organization related to such group, or any other anti-social force.
- When the guest smokes in bed, tampers with firefighting equipment, or fails to comply with prohibited matters in the Hotel Rules, limited to matters necessary for fire prevention.
2. If the Hotel cancels the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall not charge the guest for accommodation services that have not yet been provided.
Article 8 – Registration of Accommodation
- On the day of accommodation, the guest shall register the following information at the Hotel front desk:
- Guest’s name, age, gender, address, and occupation
- For foreign guests: nationality, passport number, place of entry into Japan, and date of entry
- Date and scheduled time of departure
- Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel
2. Foreign guests who do not have an address in Japan shall be required to present their passport, and the Hotel may take a copy thereof.
3. If the guest intends to pay the charges under Article 12 by traveler’s checks, accommodation coupons, credit cards, or other means equivalent to currency, the guest shall present such means in advance at the time of registration and obtain approval from the Hotel.
Article 9 – Room Use Hours
- The guest may use the guest room from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure. For consecutive stays, the guest may use the room throughout the day except on the day of arrival and the day of departure.
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may permit use of the room outside the prescribed hours. In such cases,
- the following additional charges shall apply:
- Up to 3 hours: 30% of the room charge
- Up to 6 hours: 50% of the room charge
- More than 6 hours: 100% of the room charge
Article 10 – Compliance with Hotel Rules
Guests shall comply with the Hotel Rules established by the Hotel and posted within the Hotel premises.
Article 11 – Business Hours
- The main business hours of the Hotel facilities shall be as follows. Details of other facilities shall be provided in the in-room information guide or notices posted within the Hotel.
- Curfew: None
- Front desk service: 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Food, beverage, and other facility services: Please refer to the in-room information guide.
2. The above hours may be temporarily changed when necessary or unavoidable. In such cases, the Hotel shall notify guests by an appropriate method.
Article 12 – Payment of Charges
- The breakdown of accommodation charges and other charges payable by the guest shall be as listed in Attached Table 1.
- Payment of accommodation charges and other charges shall be made in Japanese yen or by traveler’s checks, accommodation coupons, credit cards, or other methods accepted by the Hotel, at the front desk upon departure or when requested by the Hotel.
- Once the Hotel has provided the guest room and made it available for use, the accommodation charge shall be payable even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay.
Article 13 – Liability of the Hotel
- The Hotel shall compensate the guest for damages caused by the Hotel in the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract or related agreements. However, this shall not apply when the damage is not attributable to the Hotel.
- The Hotel maintains hotel liability insurance to address possible incidents such as fire.
Article 14 – Handling When the Contracted Room Cannot Be Provided
- If the Hotel is unable to provide the contracted guest room, the Hotel shall, with the guest’s consent, arrange alternative accommodation under conditions as similar as possible.
- If the Hotel is unable to arrange alternative accommodation, the Hotel shall pay the guest compensation equivalent to the cancellation fee, which shall be applied to damages. However, if the inability to provide the room is not attributable to the Hotel, the Hotel shall not pay such compensation.
Article 15 – Handling of Deposited Items
- If loss, damage, or other harm occurs to items, cash, or valuables deposited by the guest at the front desk, the Hotel shall compensate for such damage except in cases of force majeure. However, if the Hotel requests a declaration of the type and value of cash or valuables and the guest fails to make such declaration, the Hotel’s liability shall be limited to 50,000 yen.
- If loss, damage, or other harm occurs to items, cash, or valuables brought into the Hotel by the guest but not deposited at the front desk due to the Hotel’s intentional act or negligence, the Hotel shall compensate for such damage. However, for items whose type and value were not declared in advance by the guest, the Hotel’s liability shall be limited to 50,000 yen unless the damage was caused by the Hotel’s intentional act or gross negligence.
Article 16 – Storage of Guest Baggage and Personal Belongings
- If the guest’s baggage arrives at the Hotel before the stay, the Hotel shall store it responsibly only when the Hotel has agreed to do so before its arrival, and shall hand it over to the guest at the time of check-in.
- If baggage or personal belongings are left behind after check-out and the owner is identified, the Hotel shall contact the owner and request instructions. If no instructions are provided, or if the owner cannot be identified, the items shall be handled in accordance with the Lost Property Act of Japan.
- The Hotel’s liability for the storage of baggage or personal belongings under the preceding two paragraphs shall be governed by Article 15, Paragraph 1 in the case of Paragraph 1, and Article 15, Paragraph 2 in the case of Paragraph 2.
Article 17 – Parking Liability
When guests use the Hotel parking lot, the Hotel merely provides a parking space and does not assume responsibility for managing the vehicle, regardless of whether the vehicle key is deposited with the Hotel. However, if damage is caused by the intentional act or negligence of the Hotel in managing the parking lot, the Hotel shall be liable for such damage.
Article 18 – Guest Liability
If the Hotel suffers damage due to the intentional act or negligence of the guest, the guest shall compensate the Hotel for such damage.
Article 19 – Governing Language
These Terms and Conditions are prepared in Japanese and English. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Japanese version and the English version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
Article 20 – Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or related agreements shall be resolved exclusively in the Japanese court having jurisdiction over the location of the Hotel, in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Breakdown of Accommodation Charges
The total amount payable by the guest shall consist of the following:
Accommodation Charges
1.Basic accommodation charge: room charge, or room charge plus meals such as breakfast.
Additional Charges
2.Additional food and beverage charges and other usage charges not included in Item 1.
Taxes
3.Consumption tax.
If tax laws are amended, the amended provisions shall apply.

Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees shall apply as follows:
- Until 11:59 PM, 3 days before check-in: Free of charge
- From 12:00 AM, 2 days before check-in: 35% of the accommodation charge
- From 12:00 AM, 1 day before check-in: 75% of the accommodation charge
- From 12:00 AM on the check-in date: 100% of the accommodation charge
- No-show or cancellation without notice: 100% of the accommodation charge
The percentage indicates the ratio of the cancellation fee to the basic accommodation charge.
If the contracted number of days is shortened, the cancellation fee for one day, namely the first day, shall be charged regardless of the number of days shortened.
Hotel Rules
To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, the Hotel establishes the following Hotel Rules pursuant to the Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
Guests are requested to understand and cooperate with these rules. If a guest fails to comply with these rules, the Hotel may refuse accommodation or use of Hotel facilities. The Hotel shall not be liable for accidents or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules.
Prohibited Items
The following items may cause inconvenience to other guests and are strictly prohibited from being brought into the Hotel:
- Animals, birds, or pets
Service dogs, hearing dogs, and assistance dogs are excluded. - Items that emit offensive odors or noise.
- Gunpowder, gasoline, or other flammable or combustible materials.
- Firearms, swords, stimulants, or other items whose possession is prohibited by law.
Food and Beverages Ordered or Brought from Outside the Hotel
- Ordering food or beverages from outside the Hotel is strictly prohibited.
- Bringing food or beverages into the restaurant is permitted only for guests with reservations. If there is a special unavoidable reason, please consult the Hotel in advance.
- Food and beverages purchased at supermarkets, convenience stores, or similar stores may be consumed in the guest room at the guest’s own responsibility, provided that proper manners are observed.
Use of Guest Rooms
- Guest rooms shall not be used for purposes other than accommodation.
- Accommodation by minors only may be refused unless permission from a parent or legal guardian is confirmed.
- Meetings with visitors inside guest rooms are not permitted at any time. Visitors are also not permitted to enter the Hotel after 10:00 PM.
- Persons other than registered guests, including accompanying guests registered under Article 8, may not stay overnight.
- Guests may not use heating, cooking, or other heat-generating appliances in guest rooms except those provided by the Hotel.
Prohibited Nuisance Conduct
- Distribution of advertisements or sale of goods within the Hotel or on Hotel premises is prohibited.
- Gambling, conduct that disturbs public morals, or conduct that causes inconvenience to other guests is prohibited.
- Loud voices, singing, or excessive television or audio volume that causes inconvenience to other guests is prohibited.
- Moving, modifying, damaging, soiling, or losing Hotel facilities, equipment, or fixtures is prohibited. Actual costs may be charged for damage, soiling, or loss.
- Photography, video recording, audio recording, or any other recording for commercial purposes within guest rooms or Hotel premises without permission is prohibited.
- Even if photographs or recordings are taken privately, posting them online or otherwise using them for commercial purposes without permission is prohibited.
Room Locking and Safety
- When leaving the guest room during your stay, please make sure the door is locked. Please lock the door while staying in the room and while sleeping. Do not open the door carelessly to suspicious visitors.
- For safety reasons, when leaving the guest room, please turn off any electrical or electronic devices you have brought with you and unplug them from the power outlets.
- The entire Hotel is non-smoking. Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas. Any act that may cause a fire is also prohibited. If smoking occurs inside a guest room, the guest shall bear the actual costs of cleaning bedding, curtains, wallpaper, and other repair or restoration costs.
- In case of emergency, please check the evacuation route map and emergency exits on each floor using the in-room information guide.
- Please take sufficient care of your cash and valuables during your stay. We recommend depositing them at the front desk. If you do not follow this procedure and loss or theft occurs inside the Hotel, the Hotel shall not be liable.
- Lost items shall be stored by the Hotel for a certain period from the date they are found and then handled in accordance with the Lost Property Act. Shipping costs for returned lost items shall be borne by the guest. The Hotel’s liability for lost items shall be governed by Article 16, Paragraph 2 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
Payment, Advances, and Tips
- If the front desk requests payment during your stay, please settle the amount each time.
- The Hotel does not provide advance payment services for shopping, tickets, taxi fares, postage, shipping costs, or similar expenses.
- The Hotel does not accept payment by check or foreign currency, and does not provide currency exchange services.
Refusal of Use by Organized Crime Groups and Persons Causing Serious Inconvenience
The Hotel refuses use by organized crime groups and related persons, as well as persons who may violate public order or good morals.
If such facts are discovered after a reservation has been made or during use of the Hotel, the Hotel shall refuse further use at that time.
